The BIG birds

Dave....excellent, EXCELLENT article and thoughts on the PBY's
that, like you, I remember so fondly. I remember the slight disapointments
well, when we did the shuttle to Annette on the Goose and not
the PBY. In retrospect I suppose, because they were the BIG birds.
They were most assuredly a
part of our lives around here that some will never understand
unless they had experienced it like we had. Many kudos on another
well written article!!
