Juneau Small Business Development Center To Visit Ketchikan

Ketchikan, Alaska - Director Jackie Stewart of the Juneau Small Business Development Center will be in Ketchikan on June 30th and July 1st, to provide free, confidential business counseling to business owners and those planning a business startup.

The Juneau SBDC will co-sponsor a workshop with the Ketchikan Area Arts & Humanities Council: Increasing Your Sales at Arts Festivals. The workshop will cover a wide range of topics on retail trade shows including creating a booth design that showcases art, pricing, effective selling skills, and adding value in a customer's mind through image, packaging and more. The workshop will be held on Wednesday, June 30th, from 6 ­ 8:30 p.m. at the Ketchikan Chamber of Commerce Conference room, 111 Stedman, Suite 201. The cost is $20, or $15 for Arts Council members. Space is limited. Registration is required in advance by calling the arts council at 225-2211.
