High School Concert

We have wonderful dedicated musicians here in our school district - thank you to each one of you.

Well, sorry to say, I missed the High School concert However, I saw the program and I was impressed - from a piece by a local musician, Dale Curtis, to a composer of 'long ago', Leroy Anderson, what a great musical education for both the students and the audience. A typewriter?! Do 'kids' today even know what that word is? or know what one looks like? I'm sure kids today cannot even imagine the sound of the clicking keys in a typing classroom - what a memory. AND the size of the band has grown over the years. It was just a few years ago and there were few in the band - now there is a stage full of 'our kids' enjoying the instruments, the sound, the practice, the extra hours, the performances, the learning that comes from the professional musicians at Music Festivals as well from other high school groups.
And not just one band, but 3! ! !

Thank you Mrs Pagnotta for your time and talent shared with 'our kids' and community.
