Ketchikan Gymnastics
By Gerald Scarzella

May 24, 2012

It has been a pleasure to sit on the Ketchikan Gymnastics Board for the past few months. There have been some exciting changes in regards to the gymnastics club. There is a new and exciting summer program for all children interested in gymnastics. We have a new manager, Calli, and she has been working on a summer schedule that should accommodate anyone interested in participating.

To get a taste of what is possible if you join gymnastics, come see our show performances from Tuesday, May 29 thru Saturday, June 2. The different classes and levels will be performing for the public. It will be at the gym, located at 4049 Tongass, upper floor. The classes have been working hard this year and are willing to show case what they have learned.

Feel free to call the Ketchikan Gymnastics Club at 247-4966 and ask for Calli, KGC Manager, with any questions you have concerning the show performance schedule, and upcoming registration for summer classes. Drop by the gym on Saturday, May 26 and June 2, from 11am to 3pm to register your child in summer classes/sessions. We have classes for girls and boys.

Don't let the summer vacation pass by without having your child do something exciting and challenging. Participation by children in gymnastics has been proven to increase attention spans, communication skills, problem solving skills, and self-esteem. Get them engaged in a healthy lifestyle!
