Educational equipment

The following video was recently submitted for airing on KPU and was turned down as it was deemed too political. Since I don't believe that is a restriction here, I would like to humbly submit it for your perusal.

The video is a reminder to all what the most important item is in your child's classroom... the teacher. Education in certain political circles is treated like an unwanted house guest, especially when funding is discussed. That sentiment leads to an annual "scare-fest" in the educational community as we discuss who stays/goes. This is bad for the teachers, bad for the students (who get wind of the cuts, no matter what we do) and bad for the community as a whole (people DO check out THIS page before hiring on here, believe me!).

It's time to treat education as a top priority and insist the Ketchikan Gateway Borough fund to the cap. Your student need not do without the classes/teachers they want if so.

Thank you for your time.
