If I had the money Mr. Ferry - I would give it to you. I like your attitude and I really enjoyed your letter. I am one of those who leave in September and I cannot afford to retire either. I have to work to make a living and I continue to work when I leave in September. I know many of you in town and I love to read Robert McRoberts' letters to Sitnews. I might not agree with all of them but at least, he speaks his mind. I also love to read when Chas Edwardson writes something. He is a great contractor and he knows he would not have as much work if it was not for all the "outsiders" wanting to re-build, remodel the space they have rented for a high price/sqf. Thanks Chas.

Yes, I am an outsider even though one of my kids was born in K-town and has spent every summer of his life here. He is now 11... I pay my taxes, my property taxes, my sales taxes, my - yeah everything to the City of Ketchikan... or the Borough and I am going to be "expelled"(with that I mean closed down) because I am not there all year around?

Hey, I pay my fair share to the economy. I love every minute I spend in Ketchikan. EVEN if it is only 5 1/2 months a year. The people with this petition thing are just trying to change the Constitution. Which COURT in their right mind would challenge a free enterprise and decide the enterprise would need to stay open year around? What happened to the LAND OF THE FREE? That also means you have the right to choose where you want to be at any time of the year. I can't live in Ketchikan year around. There is no job for me after season ends.
