Bravo to Lou Harrington for bringing SITNEWS readers the story of fish pirate/miner Val Klemm.

My father often fished the the Pt. Caamano area and I remember visiting Klemm's old cabin many times in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Even though he had been dead for nearly 20 years, the cabin remained just as he had left it when he died. What a wonderful time capsule!
