Don, why did you put a picture in your letter that is obviously not a site on Pennock Island?
In the picture it says "Totem Poles Ketchikan", underneath it, Howkan, Alaska?

Howkan is on Long Island, some 60 or 70 miles from Pennock.

Of the 3 locations, which one is it? Maybe you should get your facts and pictures straight before you start pointing fingers.

In the 40 years I have lived here I have never, on any of my trips to Pennock Island, seen a burial site, a totem pole, or the remains of a totem pole. I have never heard of anyone burying a body on Pennock as long as I have lived here either. That does not mean it's not true, it just means I have never heard of it.

I do agree with you on one point, the money would be better spent on a road to the mainland. But, it is too late in the process for that because the money is there for the bridge only and if not used, it is lost.
