Trombla KGH Employee of the Month

Ketchikan, AK - Matt Trombla, a Radiology Technologist at Ketchikan General Hospital (KGH), has been named Employee of the Month by a committee of his peers.

Trombla is currently a member of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and is licensed in both routine radiography and computed tomography (CT) scanning. He has over 20 years experience in each of these imaging modalities.

Matt has worked for KGH for ten years, both in the hospital setting and in Southeast Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Clinic. "While working at Southeast Orthopedics
I was able to fine tune my x-ray skills to the achieve precise images the orthopedic surgeons needed," Trombla said, "and while in the hospital setting I have been able to keep my skills active in CT, surgery, trauma, and to stay current on the advancements in this field."

"I believe that every employee, physician and volunteer at KGH should all be Employees of the Month always. Let's not forget the Fire Department, Gateway Center for Human Services, and the peace officers in our community also. Through the dedication of this entire team working together, our community receives quality health care. I'm just proud to be a small part of this team in Ketchikan, Alaska, " said Trombla.

The award of Employee of the Month at KGH recognizes those who regularly go above and beyond what is required, to provide high quality service to patients, visitors and co-workers.
