The Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show provided this family an opportunity to attend their show Friday. I heard first hand from the family that they had a fantastic time!!!! Thank you for your kindness and caring. I would also like to acknowledge and thank the Alaska Amphibious (aka" The Duck Boat") crew for their offer to give this family a trip on the "Duck" later this weekend. This family is on their first and only visit to Ketchikan from New Jersey. The family has four children all with special needs. The father is terminally ill and it was the hope of the family that this trip would provide the children with happy memories of their dad living his life-long dream of visiting Alaska.
