The 4th of July Queen Contest is Here! That's right, The Lions Club has partnered with Special Olympics to bring the Queen contest back this year. Many people in the community don't realize that the local Lions Club funds the fireworks and if you want to see this tradition continue, you need to get your raffle tickets from Olive Natkong, Chelsea Goucher, Vicky Pilcher, Dawn Reno, Heather Keller, Jamie Fitzgerald and Jessica Graham. The raffle is for $500 first place, $200 second place and $50 third place.

This year the Lions will be donating half of the proceeds to Special Olympics to help their unified partners participate in many activities. Our Queen contestants are outstanding members of the community who have countless community service hours to their credit already and are dedicated to helping provide the community our annual fireworks and help Special Olympics! The queen and her court will be riding in the 4th of July parade, so be sure and thank them for helping with the 4th! Thank you girls for helping with this community celebration, we are proud of you!
