Remember The Fireside? By June Allen

I remember the Fireside. I was stationed at USCG Base Ketchikan in 1983-4. Many of us would walk over to the Fireside to listen & dance to the band on Friday & Saturday nights.

I remember a band from Alaska called "North" (I believe). They played classic rock & top 80 hits. Good band. There was another night club nearby we would go to also but I forgot the name. We had a good time. Good music.
