Ball fields

Mr. Lanham, I have walked at North Point Higgins and Weiss fields and the trail to Coast Guard beach for 7 years now every morning before or at daybreak. Ardie and I kept all the feces and ball players disgusting refuse picked up for a minimum of 5 years. You have noticed the excess feces but that is a very limited amount of refuse left out there. I clean up duck heads and duck bodies with duck tape on them out of the field also. No one will ever teach the geese to pick up after themselves.

The ball players have left me human feces, vomit, used condoms on more than one occasion, full beers and cigarettes, broken glass, etc. right where kids play. Last year was the first year the ball players were responsible and picked up. So thank you for taking a turn at cleaning out the field. I will get the other one.

Another part of the problem is neighbors opening the door to let dogs out to run at night. First place they go is in the field to sniff other visiting dog smell or human food smell left as garbage.

I closed the gates daily but that robs the deer of a clover snack. So I value your opinion no matter how limited it actually is.
