Ketchikan Chooses Respect

Well said, Diane! I'm sorry I was unable to participate in the "Choose Respect" walk to show how important it is to have a safe environment for our children to grow up in. Many youth mention "home issues" as a factor in problems they have at school. The "Be the Change" group will be advocating for a community-wide Challenge Day workshop here in Ketchikan.
The more actions we take to open the discussion and provide support for new awareness and new (or renewed) answers, the sooner we will reach that goal of helping our students succeed in school and in their futures. It's up to every one of us to make a difference.
