Government Waste

I agree with prior letters concerning government waste. When I was in the U.S. Army I was astounded by the waste that would go one.

I can remember spending four days destroying c-rats. Granted they didn't taste great, but they would have provided much needed nurishment to the needy. We regularly discarded and destroyed useful equipment. The amount of useful items destroyed was incredible!
