I just wanted to thank Rob for having the courage to stand up for the American citizens who are slaughtered every year. It is an unpopular stance and one that divides our nation, unfortunately.

I think it is important to state that recognizing human life is not just for Christians. You don't have to believe in a god to believe in the rights of human infants to life. I am putting this forth as I am afraid that many people who sit on the fence of this issue are further pushed away from the pro-life camp because they do not feel affiliated with any established religion.

I say this is NOT a religious issue, but a human right. These babies deserve the right to life not because a god or religion says so but because the basic right to preservation of life is a HUMAN RIGHT and HUMAN INFANTS ARE HUMANS.

So, those of you unsure about this issue, please do not be put off by the fact that churches generally support right to life. Weigh the issue on facts, ethics, and human rights. Let the film that is put over your eyes on this be cleared. I think we often fool ourselves into not fully thinking through this subject because:

1) The popular people support abortion
2) Abortion is handy. (Shoot, I am a woman. Having a way to undo an oops on my part would be wonderful... that is, if it didn't involve murder)
3) The mistaken idea that if you are against infanticide you are somehow also against equal rights for women.

Research the issue, look at abortion footage, find out about conception and life. Don't be pulled to the abortion side just because you identify with strong independent women. You can be that and not kill babies.
