KGH Foundation Presented $10,000 Gift

(SitNews) Ketchikan, Alaska - Southeast Alaska Wells Fargo Banks at a reception Tuesday night at The Point presented the Ketchikan General Hospital Foundation a check for $10,000.

“This is a tremendous gift,” said Penny Pedersen, the interim Foundation Director, “Southeast Alaska Wells Fargo Banks have been generous contributors to Ketchikan General Hospital. This donation will become part of our Fund for Excellence.

Each year Southeast Alaska Wells Fargo Banks support non-profit organizations in their communities. This year they have invested more than $45,000 in Ketchikan. Statewide, Wells Fargo has given $1.5 million to about 300 non-profit organizations and supported their team members who logged over 10,000 volunteer hours in 2010.
