Getting rid of unwanted catalogs
By MJ Cadle

I just want to share with everyone website I have found invaluable in the last few months in my efforts to cut down on the number of unwanted catalogs I receive.

It is a free service that will contact catalog merchants on your behalf and ask them to stop sending catalogs to you. I have listed over 20 catalogs with them and they have been about 98% successful in stopping the catalogs (after the usual few already in the works trickle in). The few that won't stop, I take the time to contact myself to stop and I tell them my disappointment in their refusal to work with catalogchoice.org will result in my not doing business with them for a period of time to try to motivate the companies to work with catalogchoice.org. Try it out!

It is www.catalogchoice.org
