Earth Day is this weekend! Join in the global celebration to rejuvenate our planet by attending the Community Clean-up at Thomas Basin.

This event will take place Saturday, April 21st from 8 am to noon. Please meet at the Thomas Basin Parking lot and bring gloves.

Divers have volunteered to haul debris from the Thomas Basin harbor,so we will help remove the recovered trash. Then we will continue up the creek to Schoenbar Middle School picking up rubbish. A picnic will follow at City Park.

Please contact Gregory Vickrey at 225-3275 or Susan Walsh at 247-3828 if you plan on attending so there will be plenty of food at the picnic for everyone!

This event invites the whole community to join together to help clean-up Ketchikan. Sponsored and supported by the Tongass Conservation Society, Ketchikan Youth Initiatives and Ketchikan Youth Court.
