Sorry to be chiming in twice in the same week but I think we've been overlooked here in Ketchikan.....again.

I just voted on the website to select the design for the Alaska State twenty-five cent piece. The choices were:

Polar Bear-Midnight Sun, ( my pick)

Dog Mushing-North to the Future

Gold Panner-Denali-The Great One

Grizzly Bear with salmon in its jaws-The Great Land

Now let us think of what has been the most newsworthy item about Alaska in the last 18 months..... I think many of you will agree with me......one of the choices should have been-

KETCHIKAN-BRIDGE TO NOWHERE
