Ketchikan School Board President Dave Lieban is one of the most honest, ethical and concerned citizens I have had the pleasure to work with in my life. He was a volunteer at the Resource Center for the chrildren's homework program. He showed up everyday willing to work with the children. You could count on him. He was commited to the best interest of children, before he had children himself. I'm sure there were reasons he and Board Member Joel Jackson voted the way they did. I'm not happy with the whole situation but, I trust his judgement. The "Chamber Of Commerce," does not speak for all the citizens of Ketchikan. This is Dave's first time out in public office and they put him on the "Hot Seat." No wonder people do not want to run for office in this town. Hang in their Dave. We who know you love you!!
