Movie Gallery, Inc. To Open Store In Ketchikan

Ketchikan, Alaska - Movie Gallery, Inc. (NASDAQ: MOVI), the nation's third largest video store, announces its newest release at 2491 Tongass Ave. The store will make its debut on Friday April 22nd, with Michael Branco premiering as the new Store Manager backed by an all-star cast of associates, and directed by the all-time favorite District Manager, Danny Osborne.

"We invite everyone to visit Movie Gallery," said Osborne. "We offer 5 night rentals on a wide selection of movies and games for everyone in the family. We even guarantee entertainment! If you rent a movie from us, take it home, and it turns out to be, not so entertaining, we ll give you another movie absolutely free." Osborne said, "We call it our, Play On Promise."

To celebrate its latest opening, Movie Gallery will host a grand opening party on Friday, April 22nd. Mayor Mike Salazar and Representatives from the Greater Ketchikan Chamber of Commerce will be on hand to kick things off with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10:00am

"Everyone is invited," said Osborne. "Our grand opening party is sure to be tons of fun. We will be giving away lots of great prizes. One lucky customer will win a Grammy Prize with one year's worth of free movie rentals!"

According to a news release, Movie Gallery promotions and in-store events are happening everyday. Ketchikan residents can pick up Movie Gallery's VideoBuzz monthly magazine for information on the latest new releases and special promotions coming to their neighborhood.
