Another Trashy Story

Thursday I got a phone call from a North Tongass resident that observed fresh trash in the ditch before you get to Higgins Spur.  I checked it out Thursday afternoon and believe it came from a paintballer.  It's nice they want to share their sport with us but I wish they would find a better way than spreading thieir trash in the ditches. There was information on a new face shield, a paintball box, and paintballs, along with a lot of small soda cans, paper cups and other trash.  Hopefully one of their members will take it upon themselves to clean it up.  It should have been covered in the back of their truck so it didn't have a chance to escape.

I also found a page from an art sketch book, the person does pretty well with their sketches but they don't know how to properly dispose of their trash which was also in the ditch!

It doesn't take much trash to destroy the beauty of a large section of road and make it look like a dump site.

If you have any information on either of these, please give me a call!
