Miminum Wage: We're in this together!

MAYBE A TEENAGER LIVING AT HOME WITH PARENTS, COULD WORK FOR SIX BUCKS AN HOUR BUT HOW IN THE WORLD WOULD A PERSON WITH A FAMILY EVER MAKE A LIVING AT THAT WAGE? WHO CAN WAIT FIVE OR SIX YEARS? EVEN IF THAT PERSON WAS SINGLE WITH ANY EXPENSES AT ALL, COULD NOT MAKE A LIVING AT THAT WAGE.

MR. FERRY I TOTALLY AGREE THAT IF YOU STAY ANY WHERE FOR FIVE TO SIX YEARS YOU SHOULD BE MAKING MORE THEN SIX BUCKS AN HOUR. THIS SIR IS THE ONLY THING I AGREE WITH. MR FERRY WERE GAS PRICES OVER TWO BUCKS A GALLON WHEN YOU STARTED THIRTY YEARS AGO? WAS A GALLON OF MILK OVER THREE BUCKS (OR MORE)? DO YOU SEE WHERE I'M GOING WITH THIS?

I UNDERSTAND A SMALL BUSINESS OWNER WANTING TO KEEP THE MIM. WAGE LOW. BUT, WHEN YOU HAVE "BIG" BUSINESSES REPING THE SAME BENEFITS AS YOURSELF AND THEY ARE BRING IN BILLONS. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY WRONG! LET ME ASK YOU THAT QUESTION; IF YOUR BODY SHOP BROUGHT IN A BILLON DOLLARS A YEAR, WOULD YOU STILL START YOU EMPLOYEES OUT AT SIX BUCKS AN HOUR? (YOU WOULD BECAUSE YOU CAN!)

THIS IS SO WRONG! IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD MIM. WAGE OR A WAGE THAT IS PROFITABLE FOR THE WORKER TOO, THEN DON'T OPEN A BUSINESS OR, "DO" THE WORK YOURSELF.
BECAUSE IN THE LONG RUN WE ALL PAY FOR THE LOW WAGE THREW OUR GOVERNMENT SUBSIDIES! YOU CAN MAKE MORE MONEY OF THE GOVERNMENT SITTING AT HOME,AND HAVING MORE BABIES AND GETTING MORE FREEBES' THEN WORKING FOR SIX BUCKS AN HOUR. WHY GO TO WORK?

THEN YOU HAVE THE CLASS OF PEOPLE THAT DON'T QUALIFY FOR GOVERNMENT SUBSIDIES, THESE ARE CALLED THE WORKING POOR. THERE ARE MORE OF US FALLING INTO THIS CLASS FASTER THEN EVER. ALL BECAUSE OF THIS SAME ISSUE. SO WHERE IS IT GOING TO END? WHEN ARE WE GOING TO EVEN OUT THE SCALE? THOSE WITH THE MOST TOYS, CAN'T TAKE IT WITH THEM. WE ALL ARE ON THE SAME SCALE WHEN IT COMES TO DEATH. SOME BIGGER HEAD STONE THEN OTHERS - BUT "DEAD"!

WHAT PROFITS A MAN IF HE GAINS THE WORLD, BUT LOSES HIS SOUL? WE NEED TO GET BACK TO THE BASICS. WHAT REALLY MATTERS, CARING ABOUT ONE ANOTHER......
WE'RE IN THIS TOGETHER, LIKE IT OR NOT!
