Ketchikan Youth Court members have been stuffing 2,000 eggs with candies for the Easter Egg Hunt which is scheduled to take place at the Plaza Mall on Saturday, April 10th.

Revilla Island Prevention Coalition and the Plaza Mall are the hosting the Easter Egg Hunt Saturday and Ketchikan Youth Court, Parks and Recreation, Big Brothers Big Sisters, PATCHWORKS, AARP and the Ketchikan Senior Center are volunteering their time to man the event.

The Easter Egg Hunt is open to children with special needs and children 2-7 years of age and is free. There will be a refreshment booth, egg coloring booth, and craft booth. Prizes will be given in three categories and will include a bike and gift certificates.

Gretchen Klein, KYC Program Coordinator, said the Ketchikan Youth Court is happy to be part of bringing the event back to the Plaza, "thanks to the gracious funding from the Revilla Island Prevention Coalition."

The event starts at 9:00 am.
