RE: Are single gentlemen extinct?

As the bumper sticker says, "Alaska men, where the odds are good, but the goods are odd!" Hmmmm.

Anyway, on the serious side, I once read that it is more important to be the right person than to find the right person. But I do get your point and know others who share your viewpoint. This town seems to lack in opportunities to get out and mingle with others. However, there are some ways though, for example, get involved with volunteerism, or look into getting a part in a play. I believe The Fish Pirate's Daughter often seeks actors/actresses. Another way is to check with the Chamber of Commerce, with the derby coming up and 4th of July parade, they could probably use a friendly hand! Maybe KRBD will let you have a spot for music of your choice! Check out the Monthly Grind. Great ways to get out there.

Well, since you asked - there's MY two cents!
