A Request For The Northend Serious Dumpers
by David Landis

After spending the morning picking up roadside garbage on North Point Higgins with Cub Scout Pack 3, I have a request to make: When littering, you don't need to throw it so far into the brush and trees - it's tough for the smaller Scouts to get it out! I know, I know, it seems like it just goes away if you throw it farther - that's what I used to think too! A much better method, though, would be to just slow your car down and ease it on out the door or window. Thanks!

Oh, one more thing if you think it's FUN to throw the trash really far, you could always take a walk through the trees and brush and throw it back out towards the street! That s what we had to do this morning.
