Stop the herring fisheries before it is too late

The Alaska Department of Fish and Game are flying around north end of Gravina Island and sighted herring spawning. What does that mean Mr. Phil Doherty? (Alaska Dept. of Fish and Game Biologist) Since you allowed Kaa Shakes, Cat Island and probably West Behm Canal herring spawn to get slaughtered, are you thinking of opening Vallenar Bay for herring fishing? How do you sleep at nights knowing that you allow herring to be fished to extinction? Why don't you tell the Great White Father Governor Frank Murkowski that we should stop all herring and sac roe fisheries before it is too late? Somebody is in somebody pocket, what else could it be?

Sea lions were observed along the Bond Bay shoreline, starving! That is what you're observing Mr. Doherty. Believe me or not, you are going to be the fall guy when the Governor has to answer for the extinction of herring in Alaska. Stop the herring fisheries before it is too late. This is my own opinion.
