(SitNews) Ketchikan, Alaska - Due to low lake levels for Ketchikan Public Utilities hydro generation, KPU announced today it will be necessary to operate Bailey diesels on a 24 hour basis beginning Monday, March 18th.

Customers are encouraged to conserve on the use of electricity during this time.
