RE: Parking???
By Chris Elliott

REALLY??? I pay $50/mo. for a parking space near the Centennial Lot because with the 2-hour maximum limit per day, I was getting too many tickets. Tickets have been given, believe me.

I can't imagine anyone calling the City regarding cars parked over two hours. Why don't you just "key" the cars and be done with it? It's a mystery to me who actually uses the library in two-hour increments once a day. Do we have that many people visiting the library from 9 to 5? You used to be able to park there in 4 hour increments. If you went out during your lunch hour, you could move your vehicle to another spot and be safe for the whole day. Perhaps when the old hospital is torn down, there will be parking for people who work downtown. Perhaps when the library is moved, there will be parking for people who work downtown. Perhaps pigs will fly.
