Dying so others can vote
By Billy D. Clifford

Dear Editor,

We send our brave young men and women to war in foreign countries so that those citizens will have the right to vote. But Americans do not exercise their right to vote here at home. Less than 38% of eligible voters turn out to vote in non-presidential national elections (source: www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0781453.html). Why?

The answer is the quality of the candidates and their parties. The career politicians from the GOP and Democratic parties fail to live up to their promises and fail to solve the serious problems facing America. Examples: failing educational system, ballooning debt, illegal immigration.

GOOOH has the solution - select candidates who are independent of a political party and will serve a limited term. Go to www.goooh.com to learn more.

Serving in Congress should be an honor, not a career.
