RE: City Council, Who are you representing?

I think the only thing that surprises me anymore is how surprised some people are when they realize how much bullheaded biases local businesses have to go through while anything that will benefit "short term" business,IE tourist related, goes on the fast track for approval. 'Nuff said?

I too wish Yellow Taxi the best of luck!

After 30 years, I think they have the experience to figure out how many cabs they need to run. After all, why would they spend tens of thousands of dollars buying, maintaining, and insuring more cars if there is no demand for this service??

P.S.

People in this town get upset and cancel the cab if the pickup ETA if 15 mins or more. Just shows you how spoiled our cab companies have gotten us. Recent experiences in the lower 48 have shown me that down there a ETA of a hour or more is not unusual at all.
