Bridge definitely needed
By Sandra V. Browne

I fully agree the bridge is definitely needed. Mr. Hoff was not here the night that all the emergency equipment was called to the airport and had to sit on this side and wait for the airport ferry because it wasn't on our side.

I see the fact of a need to reach our airport in case a plane does crash, I don't think it wise for someone to wait and see who will sue who first because of the need not being met. More than a significant reason to have the bridge put in.

I can pretty much bet on the fact that every out-of-town customer of Alaska Airlines would love to see a bridge rather than wait on a ferry during those harsh winter nights when they get stuck spending a night in our quaint little town. The area here can definitely make room for expansion.

I would not want to be on the plane that does go down and we can't get any emergency equipment there to help out.

Sincerely,

Sandra V. Browne
