Financial abuse?

It's a real shame that a trip that costs $10 for locals on weekends
is marked up to $79 for tourists from the Princess cruises. (See
page 55 in the Princess cruises' Adventures Ashore handbook.)
Are we going to have to expect
to be gouged for the entire vacation? I saved for a long time
for this trip, and don't like thinking that financial abuse is
part of what I should expect from Alaskans.
