The Coast Guard contacted the owners of the vessel to inform them of the situation. The owners told the Coast Guard there is approximately 1,000 gallons of diesel mixed with water on board the vessel. No breach of the hull was discovered and no presence of any discharge was seen by Coast Guard personnel. The owners of the vessel have made plans to lighter the fuel mixture off the vessel today. The Coast guard will monitor the situation.
