Kudos to Shauna for the eloquent way of explaining to Dr. York
what Ketchikan is all about. I don't live there anymore, but
his comments offended even me. Ketchikan is a unique community
with a personality like none other. Give yourselves credit for
finding ways to survive and keep a community going, instead of
rolling up the sidewalks and feeling sorry for yourselves. Dr.
York obviusly was not a resident when the SOC (Save Our Community)
Committee was making a plea to the likes of Senator Paul Tsongass
and his Senate cronies. Remember those days? Good job Shauna.
