Essential state services?

Hey Guv, there you go using that term "essential state services" again. Could we Alaskans get a more comprehensive definition of this term, other than "such as education". We "Alaskans deserve no less". How much of the Governor's Office Budget includes "essential state services"? Maybe you should have had that dog-and -pony show you call the "Conference of Alaskans" define the term. Of course that would take some political guts. It's always better as an employee of the State to just lobby for more tax money than to examine spending. By the way, a more accurate name for your dog-and-pony show would be "The Conference of Well to Do and Politically Connected Alaskans With a Vested Interest in Increasing State Spending". Show some guts, Frank, and start cutting or get the hell out of the way.
