RE: Feral Cats

What is missing here is the fact that the feral population - if neutered or spayed will eventually collapse because they can no longer breed.

While I hate that cats - mine or others are Charles Manson's to bird populations, it is the cycle of life. I do everything that I can to keep my cats away from the birds - I don't feed the birds or do anything that would draw them into my cat's lair.

That being said, if you ever had to be involved in the mass execution of unwanted cats - you would see that the Humane Society is doing a service to the community and making a difference. And that is much more humane to the cats and eventually to the birds.
