Do you hate SE Alaskan Children?

Gosh I hope the title caught your eye. Senator Anna MacKinnon wants you to think eliminating daylight savings time is good for you. She obviously either hates SE families or she thinks the northern communities (WANTS) are so valuable to us in SE, we are willing to eliminate yet another hour of afternoon daylight for recreation and basic sight for safety. If her ignorant bill should pass, the diference between a kid in Ketchikan prior to 1983 and her version of efficient use of daylight will be two less hours of after school, after work, after diner natural daylight.

Our insignificant town as well as the other communities in SE Alaska, were sacrificed in 1983 due to Governor Bill Sheffield's ignorant mandate to consolidate our legitimate 4 time zone state into a convenient 2 time zone state. We lost one hour then.

The only way we should consider the elimination of daylight savings time, is if we went back to the scientific time zones prior to Sheffield's rip off of daylight from SE
Alaskan families of 1983.

PS Note in her survey, she wants to know what part of Alaska you are from? Jeepers I wonder why? She thinks SE Alaska is Vern's trailer park, and your kids need a good scrubbing -- thats why. Not because its our lives that are expected to give up the most, just so Eagle River can make more convenient phone calls to New York City.
