Ketchikan UAS Students Make Fall 2014 Honors List

(SitNews) Ketchikan, Alaska - University of Alaska Southeast Ketchikan has announced the names of the students who have made the UAS Chancellor’s and Dean’s lists for the Fall 2014 Semester.

Starla Agoney, Stephanie Alley, Ian Johnson-Beitman and Ronald Mello made the Fall 2014 semester Chancellor’s List. A student must be admitted to a program, earn a 4.00 grade point average, and complete at least 12 credit hours during the semester to make the Chancellor’s Honor List.

Trina Anderson, Leona Baumeister, Stephanie Compton, Sarah Fitzgerald, Andrew Hoyt, Kassandra Klose, Jennie McGarrigan and Virginia Thomas made the Fall 2014 semester Dean’s List. A student must be admitted to a program, earn a 3.5 grade point average, and complete at least 12 credit hours during the semester to make the Dean’s Honor List.

The University of Alaska Southeast Ketchikan campus provides a wide variety of educational courses and programs to Ketchikan and the surrounding communities throughout the year.

Courses and programs are available locally and via e-Learning, including web-based and audio-conference classes. Through these offerings, students can achieve certifications, associate, bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
