United Citizens for Better Water

By Amanda Mitchell

February 01, 2014
Saturday AM

We are a group of local citizens concerned about our drinking water and our city's planned use of Chloramines in March. We would like to see a filtration system put in place so that our water system will require fewer chemicals and have less byproducts.

If you are interested in signing a petition there are several businesses in town that will have one available. If you are wanting to voice your opinion, our group is planning on meeting at the City Council on the 6th (the regular meeting for open public comment) of this month at 6:50. A few of us will show up at 6pm to share information.

You can visit our website: http://saveourwater.blog.com/

Or you can contact us at 254-5445 or email us at saveourwater@hushmail.com

We have plenty of opportunity for you to volunteer and be the change you want to see in our community. We look forward to talking with you soon.

Sincerely,

Amanda Mitchell
