Ketchikan Police Report released February 25, 2013:

On 2/21/13 at about 3:20 PM officers were dispatched to Walmart on a report o f a female shoplifter in custody.  Upon investigation officers were told ALEASHA HAYWARD, 26 years of age of Ketchikan AK, had taken $156.53 worth of merchandise without paying for it.  She was issued a misdemeanor citation for Theft in the Third Degree.

On 2/23/13 at about 3:41 AM officers were dispatched to the Super Eight Motel on a report of an intoxicated male causing a disturbance.  Upon investigation officers arrested KENNETH HEATH, 36 years of age of Craig AK, for Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree and Violation of Conditions of Release.  He was transported to Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was held on $500.00 bail.

On 2/23/13 at about 7:08 AM officers were dispatched to Thatcher Way on report of a female hitting a male.  Upon investigation officers arrested LEONA BUXTON, 36 years of age of Metlakatla AK, for Assault in the Fourth Degree Domestic Violence.  She was transported to Ketchikan Correctional Center where she was held without bail.
