Thank you to Ken and crew for climbing to the tippee top in the cold and through the snow to give Ketchikan the wonderful show of fireworks - giving us the thrill of just watching in awe on a cold and wintry night!

What is there about watching fireworks that is so exhilarating? The same with standing on the shoreline skipping rocks. Such simple pleasures that every generation and culture can share and enjoy without pretense, I wish I had taken a thermos of hot cocoa to enjoy - and that we had had a bonfire to warm everyone and to have time to chat with our 'neighbors'.

I will be putting some money in the piggy bank for Ken - THANK YOU for sharing this beauty in the dark of the night sky.
