Center Opens in Ketchikan

Ketchikan, Alaska - The Alaska Small Business Development Center
announces the opening of its center in Ketchikan. Michele Zerbetz
Scott, Business Advisor, will be providing counseling services.
Zerbetz Scott was born and raised in Ketchikan, and is a long
time Alaskan. Her background includes over 12 years as a small
business owner providing consulting services to small businesses,
not-for-profits and tribal governments; 18 years management experience,
holding executive positions in several not-for-profit organizations;
and a Masters Degree in Business Administration.
The Alaska Small Business Development Center offers free, confidential
business counseling and low cost workshops featuring business-related
topics to entrepreneurs wanting to start or expand their businesses.
Future plans include a business lending library and a computer
station to access business resources. The Ketchikan center is
the sixth of a statewide network of business centers.
The Ketchikan office is located at 111 Stedman Street, Suite
