Rental Fees - Ted Ferry - Meeting Notes

Mr. Holston, in a letter dated 12/23 I explained that we were inspired by Mr. Gadsey's decision NOT to request the waiver of rental fees for the Ted Ferry Civic Center for the SAIL event on January 15th. Thus motivated, the organizers of the Enough is Enough event asked for donations from the public to pay the costs in order to support keeping City employees' jobs by not asking for a waiver of fees. (We collected $300- thank you - enough to cover the original cost before we opened the third bay due to the large crowd who participated.)

And to all, the 12 pages of meeting notes recording the spoken comments as well as the 153 note cards that were turned in are available on the forum page under "Enough is Enough...a Community Conversation" the web address is: http://ketchikanconversation.freeforums.org

There is also a facebook page: "ktnenough"...no space between the words, and an email: ktnenough@gmail.com.

Please, connect with your neighbors to make change happen, here!
