Thank you City crews!

I would like to say THANK YOU to the crews at the City of Ketchikan Public Works Department. They have done a tremendous job on keeping the upper side roads passable, during our winter days and nights.

Particularly, Sunday, February 10, 2008, after the big weekend snowfall, the City crews were working on Jackson Street plowing and hauling snow off of the street and helping to clear driveways that had been blocked by plowed snow that created enormous burms that vehicles could not break through. Most people had even run out of a place to shovel the snow too.

I sincerely appreciate all the time, effort and lack of sleep that the employees of the City of Ketchikan Public Works department have given to our community this winter. This city would be stalled without you!

Sincerely,

Jennifer Hayter
