Dear Sitnews,

I think I'm experiencing one of my great disappointments regarding the drug problem with our youth in Ketchikan. I see lots of fine rhetoric but nobody is offering to role up their sleeves and be part of a solution.

I respect the eloquence of expression from many. Everybody knows how valuable talk is.
Earlier, I offered to be part of an approach to lessen this problem but, I can't do it alone.
But anything short of rolling up your sleeves and helping is going to be fruitless as far as troubled youth are concerned.

I will say it again. If you have a problem or see a problem and want change... GET PHYSICALLY INVOLVED!!!!
