What's wrong with you people!

The Bridge, the Dock Expansion, our Water Quality, our Schools, and others are all much needed projects and problems that need fixing that would serve our community well. I for one am not against fixing or building any of them. They would fix problems, expand our infrastructure and enhance all our lives in one way or another.

Most of the negative reasons I have read or heard are just plain ridiculous, narrow minded thinking that will get us nowhere. For example, we should not build the bridge so we can use that money to fix our water problem. With that kind of thinking we will have neither!

Now I certainly realize that each and every one of these projects has problems or concerns, I have some of my own, but please tell me why we can't find solutions to the issues that divide so many of us. All we have to do is try. Why can't all you smart people who come up with a reason why not, also come up a reason why or a solution that would satisfy you other than just saying No. All it would take for all these projects become reality is some positive thinking, a little compromise, and some will power on all our part.

About: " My favorite motto used to be: The turtle makes no progress unless he sticks his neck out!

Well that used to work for all until I realized that some of you either, have no head, have two heads, or have no eyes, so sticking your neck out is fruitless."
