Gas Prices?

Just a quick question about gas prices. Why is regular gas in
Seattle $2.05 to $2.15 a gallon for regular gas and here it is
$2.75? I know that it is not the local gas station owners fault.
Is it taxes, shipping costs, or what? Am I being paranoid or
are we getting ripped off?

PS I still say if we need a
bridge it should be off this island and to the Al-Can Highway.
