US Congess shows its True Colors By Michael Spence January 15, 2014
It is clear that despite all their grandstanding over fiscal responsibility, the House conservatives in control are beholden to the corporate world and not the American people. OVER HALF of the entire budget is proposed to be spent on discretionary military spending while these same "conservatives" want to dismantle social security and medicare. Much of this spending is to fund PRIVATE FOR PROFIT defense contractors who owe nothing to the American taxpayers who pay for them. When time comes to elect members of Congress, all registered voters have the right and responsibility to remember this act of hypocrisy that brings great shame to our government.
